The Essentials

Set it up, understand the key functions and get ready to use it.

Use the three packing zones
Use the three packing zones

Road Warrior is organised into three separate zones so you can keep everyday essentials, clothing and tech apart. Use the organiser section for smaller travel items, the main compartment for clothes and packing cubes, and the rear section for your laptop, tablet and chargers.

Helpful Tip: Give each zone one job and keep it consistent from trip to trip so you always know where to reach for things.

Adjust the straps for comfort
Adjust the straps for comfort

Tighten the shoulder straps until the backpack sits close to your back, then position the sternum strap across your chest so it feels secure without restricting movement. A closer fit helps reduce movement and keeps the load more stable while you walk.

Helpful Tip: Make small strap adjustments after the backpack is fully packed, as the fit can change once the load is heavier.

Use the hip belt when you need it

The hip belt is removable, so you can use it when carrying a heavier load or walking for longer periods and leave it off when you want a cleaner, lighter setup. Attach it securely before tightening it around your hips.

Helpful Tip: For short airport transfers or lighter loads, you may find the backpack more convenient without the hip belt attached.

Make the Most of It

Practical tips and ideas to help you use it more effectively.

Pack it like a suitcase
Pack it like a suitcase

Open the main compartment flat and pack it as you would a small suitcase. Use packing cubes or folded clothing in the main cavity, then secure everything with the internal compression straps and mesh panel before closing.

Helpful Tip: Keep heavier items closer to the back panel so the backpack feels more balanced when carried.

Keep your tech separate

Use the rear tech section for your laptop, tablet, chargers and other electronics so they stay separate from clothing and easier to access during the journey. Keeping tech together also makes airport security stops simpler.

Helpful Tip: Place the device you’re most likely to remove at security closest to the opening.

Expand it when you need more room

Use the expansion zipper when you need extra packing space. Road Warrior expands from 28L to 36L, giving you more room for clothing, shopping or a longer trip while keeping the same organised layout.

Helpful Tip: If you plan to fly with it as carry-on, check your airline’s size limits again after expanding the bag.

Slide it over your suitcase

Use the rear trolley sleeve to secure the backpack over the handle of your rolling suitcase when you don’t want to carry it on your back. It keeps the bag supported and makes moving through airports easier.

Helpful Tip: Fully extend your suitcase handle before sliding the sleeve over it so the backpack sits securely.

Use the rain cover

Deploy the stowable rain cover when you need extra protection from wet weather. Pull it over the backpack so the main panels and zippers are covered, then let it dry completely before packing it away again.

Helpful Tip: After using it in the rain, remove the cover and let both the cover and backpack air-dry before storage.

Care, Repairs & Support

Cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting and help when something goes wrong.

Clean and care for your backpack

Wipe the outer fabric with a soft, damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent when needed. Spot-clean the lining, straps and mesh areas rather than soaking the bag, and allow everything to dry naturally before storing.

Helpful Tip: Test any cleaner on a small, hidden area first.

Understand your warranty

Your Road Warrior is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, so if a zip, seam or buckle fails because of how it was made, we will put it right.

Covered: faults in zippers, stitching or hardware that come from manufacturing.

Not covered: misuse, accidents, damage from airlines or other carriers, and the normal wear that comes with regular travel.

Helpful Tip: Keep your order confirmation handy. It is all we need to look up your purchase if you ever make a claim.

Good to Know

Answers to the questions customers ask most often.

Can I use Road Warrior as carry-on luggage?

Road Warrior measures 47 × 32 × 20 cm, or 47 × 32 × 24 cm when expanded. Both configurations are under the commonly used 115 cm total-dimension guideline, so it is suitable as carry-on luggage for many airlines.

Airline limits vary by carrier, route and fare, and some airlines use individual side limits rather than a total-dimension rule. Always check your airline’s current allowance before travelling.

What changes when I expand it?

Expanding Road Warrior increases the capacity from 28L to 36L and the depth from 20 cm to 24 cm. The extra space is useful for a longer trip or additional packing, but the larger dimensions may affect carry-on acceptance with some airlines.

Will my laptop fit?

The rear tech section is designed to hold laptops up to 17 inches and tablets up to 12.9 inches. Fit can still vary slightly depending on the shape and thickness of your device or protective case.

How do the lockable zippers work?

The zipper pulls on the main compartments are designed to interlock so you can secure them with a small luggage padlock. The organiser section can also be secured to its fixed side clip for added protection.

Where should I keep my passport and cards?

Use the RFID-blocking pocket in the organiser section for your passport and contactless cards. Keeping these items together in one secure pocket also makes them easier to find when you need them.
