You must put your credit cards and passport in this dedicated pocket to secure your credit cards and passport.  On this backpack the RFID blocking pocket is on the back. It has golden lining.

The USB port enables you to charge your devices with your favourite power bank (not supplied). The power bank can be placed inside the backpack with the supplied cable connected to the external USB port from the inside. Then you can plug in your charger cable to the USB port from the outside and charge a device in your hand or pocket. This would usually work best on a phone in a pocket, or a larger device when the backpack is sitting stationary, such as flat on a table.

Of course we would like to claim that our bags are cut-proof, but in reality that is simply impossible. Even though our bags are made with the best technology and highest grading of cut resistant fabric, if someone spent long enough trying to cut into them they would eventually make their way through. After all it is fabric, not steel. If you want to keep your things safe from pickpockets or bag slashers, then our bags are a great solution. But if you're looking for an indestructible, cut-proof bag that can never be opened - buy a safe.

There are several reasons why we have chosen not to use Kevlar in the production of our anti-theft bags. The fabric we use for reinforcing our bags is significantly more resistant to cutting or slashing in comparison to Kevlar. The internationally recognised ISO cut resistant grading system gives fabric a score from 1 to 5, with Kevlar usually scoring a level 2 or in unique circumstances a level 3. The fabric we use scores a level 5, the highest cut resistant grading possible. Kevlar is also traditionally poor at reflecting UV and can weaken or discolour if exposed to direct sunlight.

We suggest just wipe your backpack with a soft cloth soaked in warm water. For more stubborn stains use a light detergent.

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag attached to an object. A tag can be read from up to several feet away. These tags include the electronic chips on modern day credit cards and passports. These chips contain sensitive and personal data, that can be misused if they fall into the wrong hands.

A locking clip is provided for the main zipper compartment which can lock the rear discrete RFID pocket as well. This prevents opportunistic pick pockets from easily getting inside your backpack's contents, as it will take them some time to disengage the pullers from the locking clip.

The outer material of this bag is made from water repellant nylon. It is perfect for those occasions when you are caught in an unexpected rain shower. However, if you accidentally dropped your bag in a pool of water, or if the bag gets soaked in a heavy downpour then water could seep through the zippers and the edges of the various compartments.

No, the straps are not made of steel. They are made of the same material as the bag but have a flexible steel cable inlaid into the strap. The flexible cable coated with plastic is lightweight and invisible to the naked eye. The cable in no way makes the straps less comfortable to use, while it makes the strap very resistant to most cutters. Odds are that after a few tugs and slashes, most thieves would move on to an easier target.
